Salutations from Jibril

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) informed Aishah that the angel Jibril was sending his salutations to her.

Narrated 'Aishah: "The Messenger of Allah said to me: 'Indeed Jibril gives his Salam to you'. So I said: 'And upon him be peace and Allah's Mercy and His blessings.'"
حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدٌ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ يَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكِ السَّلاَمَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ فَقُلْتُ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ وَرَحْمَةُ اللَّهِ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ
