The Pledge of Protection Under the Tree

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) promised that those who pledged allegiance to him under the tree will not enter Hell.

Narrated Jabir: that the Messenger of Allah said: "None of those who gave the pledge under the tree shall enter the Fire".
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ لاَ يَدْخُلُ النَّارَ أَحَدٌ مِمَّنْ بَايَعَ تَحْتَ الشَّجَرَةِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a promise made by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It was narrated by Jabir ibn Abdullah, who said that the Messenger of Allah said, "None of those who gave the pledge under the tree shall enter the Fire". This hadith is referring to an event in which people gathered around a tree and pledged their allegiance to Prophet Muhammad. By making this pledge, they were promised protection from entering Hellfire. This hadith teaches us about loyalty and faithfulness towards our leaders and how it can lead us to safety and security in both this life and hereafter.
