EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith explains the importance of calling people by their fathers' names, as this is more just according to Allah. It was narrated by Ibn 'Umar, who was a companion of Prophet Muhammad and one of the most knowledgeable people in Islam. In this hadith, he recounts how they used to call Zaid bin Harithah only as Zaid bin Muhammad until the Qur'an revealed a verse ordering them to call them by their fathers’ names instead. This verse from the Qur’an emphasizes that it is more just and fair according to Allah for us to refer to someone using their father's name rather than any other name or title. It teaches us that we should be respectful when referring or talking about others and use proper titles when addressing them.
