The Excellence of Ja'far bin Abi Talib

SUMMARY: The hadith is about the excellence of Ja'far bin Abi Talib in comparison to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Narrated Abu Hurairah: "None has put on sandals - nor worn them, nor ridden a mount, nor a Kur, after the Messenger of Allah - better than Ja'far bin Abi Talib".
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ مَا احْتَذَى النِّعَالَ وَلاَ انْتَعَلَ وَلاَ رَكِبَ الْمَطَايَا وَلاَ رَكِبَ الْكُورَ بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ جَعْفَرِ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ ‏‏ وَالْكُورُ الرَّحْلُ
