The Relationship between the Prophet Muhammad and Ali

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is emphasizing the importance of Ali and his relationship with him.

Narrated Hubshi bin Junadah: that the Messenger of Allah said: "'Ali is from me and I am from 'Ali. And none should represent me except myself or 'Ali".
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُوسَى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ حُبْشِيِّ بْنِ جُنَادَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ عَلِيٌّ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْ عَلِيٍّ وَلاَ يُؤَدِّي عَنِّي إِلاَّ أَنَا أَوْ عَلِيٌّ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ صَحِيحٌ
