SUMMARY: The people of Ansar were able to identify the hypocrites by their hatred for Ali bin Abi Talib.

QUICK LESSONS:
Be careful when judging others and look out for signs that may indicate someone's true intentions.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about how the people of Ansar were able to recognize hypocrites in their midst. A hypocrite is someone who pretends to be a believer but does not actually practice what they preach. In this hadith, it was revealed that one way to identify a hypocrite was through their hatred for 'Ali bin Abi Talib. This shows us that we should be careful when judging others and look out for signs that may indicate someone's true intentions. We should also remember that even if someone appears to be a believer on the outside, it does not necessarily mean they are truly devoted in their faith and practice what they preach.
