Special Bond between the Prophet and 'Ali bin Abi Talib

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ said to 'Ali bin Abi Talib that they are connected and have a special bond.

Narrated Al-Bara bin 'Azib: that the Prophet said to 'Ali bin Abi Talib: "You are from me, and I am from you". And there is a story along with this Hadith.
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ وَكِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى، عَنْ إِسْرَائِيلَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ قَالَ لِعَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ‏ "‏ أَنْتَ مِنِّي وَأَنَا مِنْكَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَفِي الْحَدِيثِ قِصَّةٌ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the special bond between the Prophet and Ali Bin Abi Talib. It is narrated by Al-Bara Bin Azib that the Prophet said to Ali Bin Abi Talib "You are from me, and I am from you". This statement conveys a deep connection between them which goes beyond just being related or having a close friendship. It implies that they share something more profound than just being family or friends; it is an unspoken understanding of each other's feelings, thoughts, and emotions. The hadith also teaches us about Muwalaat which means loyalty and devotion towards one another in any relationship whether it be familial or friendly.
