This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad praising 'Umar bin Al-Khattab for his understanding and wisdom. In this hadith it is mentioned that among the nations there used to be people called Muhaddathun who were given understanding. The Prophet Muhammad said that if there was one in his nation it would be 'Umar bin Al-Khattab. This hadith teaches us to appreciate those around us who have knowledge and understanding as they are a blessing from Allah. It also teaches us to recognize the importance of knowledge and wisdom in our lives as well as in our society. We should strive to acquire knowledge so that we can benefit ourselves and others around us with it.
