The Beloved Companion of the Prophet

SUMMARY: Abu Bakr is the most beloved companion of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Narrated 'Umar bin Al-Khattab: "Abu Bakr is our chief, and the best of us, and the most beloved of us to the Messenger of Allah ".
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبِي أُوَيْسٍ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ بِلاَلٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ، قَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ سَيِّدُنَا وَخَيْرُنَا وَأَحَبُّنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the high status and respect that Abu Bakr, one of the companions of Prophet Muhammad, held in his eyes. Umar bin Al-Khattab narrated this hadith to emphasize how much love and admiration he had for Abu Bakr. He said that he was their leader, best among them and most beloved to the Messenger of Allah. This shows us how important it is to have a good character and be kind to others as it will make us more respected in society. It also teaches us that we should always strive to be better people so that we can gain respect from those around us. We should also remember that our actions will reflect on our character and reputation in society.
