Asking Allah for All Needs

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) encourages people to ask Allah for all their needs, no matter how small.

Thabit Al-Bunani narrated that the Messenger of Allah said: "Let one of you ask his Lord for his every need, until he asks Him for salt, and asks Him for the strap of his sandal when it breaks".
حَدَّثَنَا صَالِحُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ لِيَسْأَلْ أَحَدُكُمْ رَبَّهُ حَاجَتَهُ حَتَّى يَسْأَلَهُ الْمِلْحَ وَحَتَّى يَسْأَلَهُ شِسْعَ نَعْلِهِ إِذَا انْقَطَعَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَهَذَا أَصَحُّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ قَطَنٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ

Ask Allah for all your needs no matter how small they are. Have faith and trust in God's mercy and power. Be humble and grateful for what you have been given by Him .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith encourages us to be grateful and patient in our supplications to Allah. We should not forget that even the smallest of needs can be asked from Him. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) reminds us that we should not hesitate in asking Allah for anything we need - even if it is something as small as a strap of a sandal when it breaks. This hadith teaches us the importance of having faith and trust in God's mercy and power; He is capable of providing us with whatever we need at any time. It also teaches us the importance of being humble and grateful for all that He has given us - no matter how big or small it may be.
