Praying for Healing

SUMMARY: The Prophet (PBUH) would pray for the healing of those who were ill, asking Allah to heal them and that there is no healing except from Him.

Ali narrated, saying: "Whenever the Prophet would visit an ill person, he would said:'O Allah, make the harm go away, Lord of mankind, and heal him, You are the Healer, there is no healing except your healing, a healing that does not leave any sickness (Allahumma adh-hibil-ba’sa rabban-nas, washfi antash-shafi, la shifa’a illa shifa’uka shifa’an la yughadiru saqama).’"
