EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith warns us against the danger of being stingy. Being stingy means to be unwilling to spend or give away money, even when it is necessary. In this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that a person who does not send salawat upon him when his name is mentioned is considered to be stingy. Sending salawat means to say a prayer for the Prophet's well-being and blessings from Allah. Therefore, this hadith teaches us that we should always remember the Prophet and show our love for him by sending salawat whenever we hear his name mentioned. We should also avoid being too tight with our money and instead use it in ways that will benefit ourselves and others around us.
