Perform wudhu , Praise Allah , Pray salat , Give charity , Be patient .

This hadith is about how important it is to do good deeds in order to please Allah. It starts by emphasizing the importance of performing wudu which is half of faith. Wudu is a ritual cleansing performed before prayer and other religious activities. Then it talks about praising Allah which fills up the scale with good deeds and glory belongs to Him alone. Salat or prayer is described as light while charity is an evidence for one's faithfulness and patience brings illumination into one's life. Lastly, it mentions that reciting the Quran can be a proof for or against you when you are judged on your deeds in the morning when everyone will come selling their souls either setting them free or destroying them depending on their actions throughout life.
