Seek refuge in Allah when feeling sad or lazy or fearing for one's fate after death; Recite supplications regularly with sincerity and faith; Follow Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) teachings faithfully; Have faith in God's protection; Be sincere towards one's prayers/supplications

This hadith speaks to us about seeking refuge in Allah from sadness and laziness as well as from the punishment of the grave. It is narrated by Muslim bin Abi Bakrah who said that his father heard him reciting a supplication asking for protection from these three things. His father then asked him where he heard it and he replied that he heard it from his father himself. His father then told him to stick to this supplication as he himself had heard Prophet Muhammad ﷺ saying it. This hadith teaches us that we should always seek refuge in Allah when we are feeling sad or lazy or when we fear for our fate after death. We should also remember that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us this supplication so we should make sure to recite it regularly with sincerity and faith.
