EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by Anas bin Mallik [may Allah be pleased with him], in which he recounts that he often heard the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ supplicating to Allah for protection from sadness, grief, helplessness, laziness, being stingy and overwhelmed by debt and overpowered by men. The Prophet ﷺ was asking for refuge in these difficult times as a reminder to us that we should always turn to Allah in times of difficulty. He taught us that no matter how hard life gets or how much we are struggling financially or socially we should always seek refuge in Him. We can learn from this hadith that it is important to have faith in God during difficult times and ask Him for help instead of relying on our own strength alone. It also teaches us not to give up hope even when things seem impossible because God will always provide a way out if we put our trust in Him.
