The Power of Tasbihat

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) encourages people to recite Tasbihat as it will result in a thousand good deeds and the wiping away of a thousand evil deeds.

Mus'ab bin Sa'd narrated from his father, that : the Messenger of Allah said to those sitting with him: "Is one of you incapable of attaining a thousand good deeds?" So a questioner among those seated with him asked him: "How can one of us earn a thousand good deeds?" He said: "(When) one of you recites a hundred Tasbiḥat a thousand good deeds are written for him, and a thousand evil deeds are wiped away from him".

Do Good Deeds, Recite Prayers/Tasbihats Regularly

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the power of reciting Tasbihat. It was narrated by Mus'ab bin Sa'd from his father that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) asked those sitting with him if any of them were capable of attaining a thousand good deeds. When one person asked how this could be done, the Prophet replied that when one recites a hundred Rakats, then a thousand good deeds are written for them and a thousand evil deeds are wiped away. This hadith teaches us that we should strive to do as many good deeds as possible and recite Tasbihats regularly in order to reap its rewards. It also shows us how powerful our words can be; even just saying something like “Subhanallah” can have an impact on our lives!
