Command to Kill Ibn Khatal

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) commanded to kill a man who was clinging to the curtains of the Ka'bah.

Narrated Anas bin Malik (ra): Allah's Messenger entered (Makkah) in the year of the Conquest (of Makkah) wearing a helmet over his head. After he took it off, a man came and said, "Ibn Khatal is clinging to the curtains of the Ka'bah". The Prophet said, "Kill him".
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ دَخَلَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ وَعَلَى رَأْسِهِ الْمِغْفَرُ، فَلَمَّا نَزَعَهُ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ إِنَّ ابْنَ خَطَلٍ مُتَعَلِّقٌ بِأَسْتَارِ الْكَعْبَةِ، فَقَالَ ‏ "‏ اقْتُلُوهُ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about an incident that happened when the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ entered Makkah in the year of its conquest. A man came and informed him that someone named Ibn Khatal was clinging to the curtains of the Ka’bah. Upon hearing this, he commanded for him to be killed. This hadith teaches us that justice must be served and those who break laws must face consequences for their actions. It also shows us how important it is for Muslims to protect their holy places from any kind of disrespect or harm.
