EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the importance of prayer and seeking protection from Allah. It tells us that Prophet Muhammad used to lay his head upon his right hand when going to sleep, then say a prayer asking for protection from Allah's punishment on the Day of Judgement. This teaches us that we should always remember our Lord and seek His protection in all aspects of our lives, especially when we are vulnerable such as when we are sleeping. We should also strive to make sure that our prayers are sincere and heartfelt so that they can be accepted by Allah. Furthermore, this hadith reminds us of the importance of being mindful and aware of the consequences we will face on Judgement Day if we do not repent for our sins and ask for forgiveness.
