Praying for Others and Oneself

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us the importance of self-care and looking after ourselves before we look after others. It is narrated that whenever the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) would mention someone in his supplications, he would begin with himself. This shows us that it is important to take care of our own needs before we can help others. We must make sure that our own spiritual health is taken care of so that we can be in a better position to help those around us. Taking time out to pray for ourselves helps us stay connected with Allah SWT and allows us to be more mindful of our actions towards others.
