The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was revealed two Surahs, Al-Falaq and An-Nas, which are a form of protection from evil. These two surahs are known as the ‘Mu’awwidhatayn’ or ‘The Two Protections’. They both begin with the words “Say I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind”¦” This is an invocation to Allah for protection against all forms of harm and evil that may befall us in this life. It is a reminder to us that we should always turn to Allah for help and guidance when faced with difficult situations or trials. We should also remember that Allah is our ultimate protector and He will always be there for us no matter what happens in our lives.
