The Blessings of Allah and Our Responsibilities

SUMMARY: On the Day of Judgment, Allah will ask us about how we used the blessings He gave us.

Abu Hurairah narrated that : the Messenger of Allah said: "Indeed the first of what will be asked about on the Day of Judgment – meaning the slave (of Allah) being questioned about the favors – is that it will be said to him: 'Did We not make your body, health, and give you of cool water to drink?’"

EXPLANATIONS:
On the Day of Judgement, Allah will ask us about how we used the blessings He gave us. This hadith reminds us that all our actions have consequences and that we must be mindful of our responsibilities to use these blessings in a way that pleases Him. We should remember to be grateful for all the favors bestowed upon us by Allah and use them in a way that is beneficial for ourselves and others. We should also strive to do good deeds so as to increase our chances of being rewarded on the Day of Judgement.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught his followers to always be mindful of their responsibilities towards Allah, even when it comes to using His blessings. He reminded them that they would be held accountable for their actions on the Day of Judgement, so they should strive to make sure they are using these gifts from God in a way that pleases Him. This hadith also teaches us about gratitude; it encourages believers to appreciate all the favors given by God and use them wisely instead of taking them for granted or misusing them.
