The Unfailing Support of Allah

SUMMARY: The Prophet (PBUH) was in a battle and his finger bled, so he asked why it was bleeding. Jibril (AS) was delayed and the idolaters said that Allah had forsaken him, but Allah revealed that He had not forsaken nor hated him.

Jundab Al-Bajali said: "I was with the Prophet in a battle when of his finger bled, so the Prophet said: 'Are you but a finger that bleeds – In the cause of Allah is what you have met.’" He said: "Jibril peace be upon him was delayed, so the idolaters said: 'Muhammad has been forsaken.’ So Allah, Blessed is He and Most High revealed: Your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor hate you".

Have faith in God Almighty even when things don't go as planned .

EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is in a battle and his finger starts to bleed. He questions why it is bleeding and then Jibril AS is delayed which causes the idolaters to say that Allah has forsaken him. However, Allah reveals that He has neither forsaken nor hated him. This hadith teaches us about the unfailing support of Allah SWT no matter what situation we are in or how difficult things may seem at times; we should always remember that our Lord will never leave us alone or hate us for any reason whatsoever. It also reminds us of how important it is to have faith in Him even when things don’t go as planned because He will always be there for us no matter what happens.
