War is Deceit

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) said that Khosrau and Caesar will be ruined, and their treasures should be spent in Allah's Cause. He also said that war is deceit.

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Khosrau will be ruined, and there will be no Khosrau after him, and Caesar will surely be ruined and there will be no Caesar after him, and you will spend their treasures in Allah's Cause". He called, "War is deceit'.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هَمَّامٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ هَلَكَ كِسْرَى ثُمَّ لاَ يَكُونُ كِسْرَى بَعْدَهُ، وَقَيْصَرٌ لَيَهْلِكَنَّ ثُمَّ لاَ يَكُونُ قَيْصَرٌ بَعْدَهُ، وَلَتُقْسَمَنَّ كُنُوزُهَا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ‏"‏‏.‏ وَسَمَّى الْحَرْبَ خَدْعَةً

This hadith was narrated by Abu Huraira, who reported that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that both Khosrau and Caesar will be ruined, and their treasures should be spent in Allah's Cause.
