QUICK LESSONS:
Respect for God, Speak truthfully and accurately regarding Him

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a Jew who came to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He made an incorrect statement that Allah will seize the heavens, mountains, earths, and other creations with just one finger. Upon hearing this, the Prophet Muhammad laughed until his molars were visible. He then corrected him by quoting a verse from Surah Az-Zumar in which it states that people should not make an unjust estimate of Allah such as is due to Him. This hadith teaches us that we should never underestimate or overestimate God's power as only He knows what His capabilities are. We must also be careful when speaking about God as we must always speak truthfully and accurately regarding Him.
