Jami at-Tirmidhi 3223 (Book 47, Hadith 275) #28872
The Angels' Submission to Allah's Decree

SUMMARY: This hadith explains that when Allah decrees a matter in the Heavens, the angels beat their wings in submission to His saying and when the fear resides from their hearts, they ask each other what did your Lord say? They reply with 'The truth, and He is the Most High the Great'. It also mentions that Shayatin are one atop another.

Narrated Abu Hurairah: that the Prophet said: "When Allah decrees a matter in the Heavens, the angels beat their wings in submission to His saying, (sounding) as if it is a chain (being dragged) upon a rock. When the fear resides from their hearts, they say (to each other): 'What did your Lord say?' They reply: 'The truth, and He is the Most High the Great (34:23)'. He said: 'And the Shayatin are one atop another'."

QUICK LESSONS:
Trusting in God’s plan for us , Doing good deeds despite temptations or distractions around us .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about how Allah's decree is carried out in Heaven. When Allah decrees something, it is heard by all of His angels who then beat their wings in submission to His command. After this fear subsides from their hearts, they ask each other what did your Lord say? To which they reply with 'The truth, and He is the Most High the Great'. The hadith also mentions that Shayatin are one atop another. This could mean that there are many devils who try to influence people away from doing good deeds but ultimately fail as Allah's decree will always prevail over them. From this we can learn that we should always trust in God's plan for us and not be afraid of any obstacles or challenges we may face along our journey as He will always be there for us no matter what happens. We should also strive to do good deeds despite any temptations or distractions around us so that we can stay on track towards achieving our goals.
