Women Being Made Lawful for the Prophet

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) did not pass away until the women were made lawful for him.

Narrated 'Aishah: "The Messenger of Allah did not die until the women had been made lawful for him".
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، قَالَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ مَا مَاتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ حَتَّى أُحِلَّ لَهُ النِّسَاءُ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
