Rewards of Good Deeds

SUMMARY: The Prophet recited a verse from the Quran to remind people of the rewards of good deeds.

Narrated 'Aishah: that the Prophet would recite: "Furuhun Wa Raihanun Wa Jannatu Na'im (56:89)"
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ هِلاَلٍ الصَّوَّافُ الْبَصْرِيُّ ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ الضُّبَعِيُّ، عَنْ هَارُونَ الأَعْوَرِ، عَنْ بُدَيْلِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ كَانَ يَقْرَأُ ‏(‏فَرُوحٌ وَ رَيْحَانٌ وَ جَنَّةُ نَعِيمٍ‏)‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ هَارُونَ الأَعْوَرِ

This hadith is about the rewards that come with doing good deeds. The Prophet recited a verse from the Quran which speaks about rejoicing, fragrant plants and a blissful garden or paradise. This verse serves as a reminder to people that if they do good deeds, they will be rewarded in this life and in the hereafter. Doing good deeds can bring joy and happiness to our lives as well as those around us. It can also bring us closer to Allah and help us gain His pleasure which is ultimately what we should strive for in life. We should always remember that our actions have consequences both in this world and beyond it so it's important to make sure we are doing what is right according to Allah's teachings.
