QUICK LESSONS:
Put effort into learning & understanding religion

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the rewards of reciting the Quran. It was narrated by Aishah that Prophet Muhammad said that whoever recites the Quran and is proficient in it will be rewarded with two rewards. This means that if someone puts in effort to learn and understand what they are reading from the Quran then they will be rewarded for their efforts. The reward could come in many forms such as spiritual peace or even physical blessings from Allah. Additionally, this hadith also implies that those who struggle to understand what they are reading from the Quran will still receive a reward for their efforts even if it is not as great as those who have mastered its contents. Therefore, this hadith encourages us to strive to learn more about our religion and put effort into understanding its teachings so we can reap its benefits both spiritually and physically.
