Finding Good People in a Crowd

SUMMARY: People are like a herd of camels, and it is difficult to find a good person among them.

Narrated (Another route) from Az-Zuhri: with this chain, and it is similar, but he said: "You can find a mount among them". - from Salim, from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah said: "People are but like one hundred camels, you can not find a mount among them - or he said - you can not find but one mount among them".

QUICK LESSONS:
Continue searching for the best amongst us and strive towards being better ourselves so that we can be an example for others as well! .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that it is difficult to find good people in a crowd. It compares people to camels, which are animals that travel together in herds. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that it is hard to find one mountable camel among the herd of one hundred camels. In other words, it is hard to find one good person among many people. We should not give up hope though; we should continue searching for the best amongst us and strive towards being better ourselves so that we can be an example for others as well!
