EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Ibn 'Abbas, teaches us that some poetry can contain wisdom. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was known to have recited poetry himself and encouraged others to do so as well. He believed that there was a great deal of wisdom in the words of poets, which could be used to teach people important lessons about life and faith. This hadith encourages us to look for the wisdom in poetry and use it to better ourselves and our understanding of the world around us. It also reminds us that we should not judge all forms of art or literature without first considering their potential value.
