QUICK LESSONS:
Choose your own name carefully , Use respectful language when referring to people in general
EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ taught us the importance of having a good name. He would often change names that were considered to be unpleasant or abhorrent. This is because a person's name can have an effect on their character and how they are perceived by others. It is important for us to choose our own names, as well as those of our children, carefully so that they reflect positive values and qualities. We should also strive to use respectful language when referring to people in general, regardless of their name or background.
