The Most Beloved Names to Allah

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ taught that the two most beloved names to Allah are Abdullah and Abdur-Rahman.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: that the Prophet said: "The most loved names to Allah are 'Abdullah and 'Abdur-Rahman".
حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ الْعَمِّيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ الْعُمَرِيِّ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ أَحَبَّ الأَسْمَاءِ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ
