Jami at-Tirmidhi 2793 (Book 43, Hadith 66) #28436
Prohibitions on Looking and Being Alone Together

SUMMARY: It is not permissible for a man to look at the private parts of another man, or for a woman to look at the private parts of another woman. It is also not permissible for two people of the same gender to be alone together under one garment.

Narrated 'Abdur-Rahman bin Abi Sa'eed Al-Khudri from his father who said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'A man is not to look at the 'Awrah of a man, and a woman is not to look at the 'Awrah of a woman. A man is not to be alone with a man under one garment, and a woman is not to be alone with a woman under one garment'."

QUICK LESSONS:
Do not look at someone else's private body parts; Do not be alone with someone else under one garment if you are both of the same gender; Respect between genders; Maintain modesty; Protect your privacy from others who may have ill intentions towards you.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that it is forbidden in Islam for a man to look at the private parts of another man, or for a woman to look at the private parts of another woman. Additionally, it is forbidden in Islam for two people of the same gender to be alone together under one garment. This means that if two men are wearing one cloak, or if two women are wearing one cloak, this would be considered haram and prohibited in Islam. These teachings help us maintain modesty and respect between genders as well as protect our privacy from others who may have ill intentions towards us.
