Perfection Through Manners

SUMMARY: The most perfect believer is the one who has the best manners.

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ نَحْوَهُ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ يَحْيَى قَوْلَ نَافِعٍ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ

This hadith from Prophet Muhammad ﷺ teaches us that having good manners and being kind to others is an important part of being a faithful Muslim. It means that we should always strive to be polite and respectful when interacting with others. We should also try our best to show compassion and understanding towards those around us. Being kind and courteous will help us build strong relationships with our family members, friends, colleagues and even strangers. Furthermore, it will also help us gain the pleasure of Allah SWT as He loves those who are gentle and merciful towards others.
