Inviting Rulers and Tyrants to Islam

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) wrote letters to various rulers and tyrants, inviting them to accept Islam before his death.

Narrated Anas bin Malik: "Before he died, the Messenger of Allah had written to Khusra, caesar, An-Najashi, and to every tyrant calling them to Allah. This An-Najashi is not the one that the Prophet performed to the funeral Salat for".

QUICK LESSONS:
Invite others towards goodness peacefully without any kind of violence or aggression .

EXPLANATIONS:
Before his death, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ wrote letters to various rulers and tyrants, inviting them to accept Islam. This was a part of the mission of da’wah that he had been sent with by Allah. He invited these people in a peaceful manner, without any force or coercion. He wanted them to understand the truth of Islam and accept it willingly. This is an important lesson for us today; we should always invite people towards goodness in a peaceful way without any kind of violence or aggression. We should also remember that no matter how powerful someone may be, they are still accountable for their actions on the Day of Judgment just like everyone else is.
