QUICK LESSONS:
Give salams according to your status

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about greeting etiquette. It teaches us that when we meet people, we should be courteous and respectful to them. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that when a horseman meets someone who is walking, he should give them salaam first. Similarly, if someone is standing still and they are met by someone who is walking, then the one who is walking should give salaam first. Lastly, if there are two groups of people with one being smaller than the other then it's best for those in the smaller group to give salaam first to those in the larger group. This hadith teaches us to be polite and respectful towards others no matter what their status or position may be. It also encourages us to show humility even when we are more powerful or influential than others around us.
