Take an oath or a pledge when needed such as joining a new community or group . Strive in Allah’s cause by following His commands & teachings . Defend your faith when necessary through jihad or struggle in His cause .

This hadith is about two people who came to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ asking him to take their pledge of allegiance for migration. However, he told them that migration has already passed away with its people, so instead he took their pledge of allegiance for Islam and Jihad. This hadith teaches us that we should strive in the way of Allah by following His commands and teachings as well as defending our faith when necessary through jihad or struggle in His cause. It also shows us how important it is to be loyal to our religion by taking an oath or a pledge when needed, such as when joining a new community or group.
