This hadith is about welcoming people with kindness and exhorting them to do good deeds. The Prophet Muhammad, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family, advised people to welcome those who come from the east with an exhortation of goodness. He also said that when Abu Sa'eed saw them he would say “Welcome with the exhortation of the Messenger of Allah, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him and his family” as a reminder for everyone that we should always strive for goodness in our lives.
