Signs of Hypocrisy

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught that a sign of a hypocrite is that they lie when they speak, do not fulfill their promises, and betray those who trust them.

Narrated Abu Hurairah: that the Messenger of Allah said: "The sign of a hypocrite is that whenever he speaks he lies, and whenever he makes a promise he does not fulfill it, and if he is entrusted he betrays".

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us about the signs of hypocrisy. He said that if someone speaks, they will lie; if someone makes a promise, they will not fulfill it; and if someone is entrusted with something, they will betray it. This hadith teaches us to be honest in our words and actions so we can stay away from hypocrisy. We should always keep our promises and be trustworthy with the things we are given to take care of.
