The Rewards of Being a Stranger

SUMMARY: Islam began as something strange and will return to being strange, and those who are strangers will be rewarded.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud: that the Messenger of Allah said: "Indeed Islam began as something strange and it will return to being strange as it began. So Tuba is for the strangers".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ غِيَاثٍ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ إِنَّ الإِسْلاَمَ بَدَأَ غَرِيبًا وَسَيَعُودُ غَرِيبًا كَمَا بَدَأَ فَطُوبَى لِلْغُرَبَاءِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ سَعْدٍ وَابْنِ عُمَرَ وَجَابِرٍ وَأَنَسٍ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ حَدِيثِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ إِنَّمَا نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ وَأَبُو الأَحْوَصِ اسْمُهُ عَوْفُ بْنُ مَالِكِ بْنِ نَضْلَةَ الْجُشَمِيُّ تَفَرَّدَ بِهِ حَفْصٌ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of being a stranger in the religion of Islam. It is said that when Islam first began, it was considered strange by many people. However, despite this, those who chose to follow it were rewarded with Tuba. Tuba is an Arabic word which means reward or blessing from Allah. This hadith teaches us that even if something seems unfamiliar or strange at first, we should still have faith in it and be willing to accept it as part of our lives because Allah rewards those who do so with blessings. Furthermore, this hadith also encourages us to remain open-minded and not be afraid to try new things even if they seem unfamiliar or different from what we are used to.
