The Paths of Paradise and Fire

SUMMARY: The hardships of life are a path to Paradise, while desires can lead to the Fire.

Anas narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "Paradise is surrounded by hardships, and the Fire is surrounded by desires".

QUICK LESSONS:
Endure hardships and difficulties in life; Focus on doing good deeds; Stay away from temptations; Persevere through difficult times; Remain patient when facing challenges.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith by Anas ibn Malik speaks about the paths that lead to either Paradise or the Fire. It states that hardships are what surround Paradise, while desires surround the Fire. This means that if one wants to reach paradise, they must be willing to endure hardships and difficulties in life. On the other hand, if one gives into their desires too much, they will end up in the fire. Therefore it is important for us to stay away from our temptations and focus on doing good deeds instead so we can reach paradise in the hereafter.
