SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) described the Lote-Tree of the Utmost Boundary, saying that it is so large that a rider can travel in its shade for a hundred years and its fruits are like Qilal.

Asma' bint Abi Bakr narrated: "I heard the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) while mentioning the Lote-Tree of the Utmost Boundary, saying: 'A rider will travel in the shade of one of its branches for a hundred years,' or 'a hundred riders will seek to shade themselves with its shade'-(one of the narrators) Yahya' was in doubt- 'in it are butterflies of gold, it is as if its fruits are Qilal".

QUICK LESSONS:
Appreciate Allah's creations no matter how small they may seem to us .

EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith narrated by Asma' bint Abi Bakr, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ described a tree called "Lote Tree" or "Sidratul Muntaha". He said that it is so large that one rider can travel in its shade for a hundred years and there are butterflies made out of gold on it and its fruits look like Qilal which is an Arabic word used to describe something small and round like beads or pearls. This hadith teaches us about how great Allah's creation is and how we should appreciate His creations no matter how small they may seem to us because everything has been created with purpose by Him alone.
