EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith emphasizes the importance of being mindful of one's words and actions. It is important to think before speaking or acting so that we do not hurt others with our words or deeds. We should be aware that our speech and actions have consequences for ourselves as well as those around us. We should strive to use our words wisely and act with kindness towards others. The companions of 'Ata' did not narrate this hadith in Marfu' form which suggests that it was more important to emphasize the values rather than the exact wording used by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ himself.
