Sahih al-Bukhari 2943 (Book 56, Hadith 155) #2815
Delaying Battle Until Dawn

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) would never attack people until it was dawn, and if he heard the call for prayer, he would delay the fight.

Narrated Anas: Whenever Allah's Messenger attacked some people, he would never attack them till it was dawn. If he heard the Adhan (ie call for prayer) he would delay the fight, and if he did not hear the Adhan, he would attack them immediately after dawn. We reached Khaibar at night.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's practice of delaying battle until dawn. He would not attack anyone until it was light out, and if he heard the call for prayer, he would delay the fight even further. This teaches us that we should be patient in times of conflict and strive to find peaceful solutions before resorting to violence. It also shows us that we should respect religious practices such as prayer and not interrupt them with unnecessary fighting or aggression. We can learn from this hadith that peace is always preferable to war and violence, even in times of conflict or disagreement.
