QUICK LESSONS:
Remain Patient regardless of our circumstances .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the importance of having patience, no matter what situation one finds themselves in. The narrator, 'Abdur-Rahman bin 'Awf, was tested by Allah along with the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w). They were tested with adversity and they were patient, but when they were tested with prosperity they did not remain patient. This hadith teaches us that we must remain patient even when times are good because it is easy to become complacent or arrogant when things are going well for us. We must remember that Allah tests us in different ways and we should always strive to be patient no matter what our circumstances may be.
