Jami at-Tirmidhi 2425 (Book 37, Hadith 11) #28060
Three Presentations on the Day of Judgement

SUMMARY: On the Day of Judgement, people will face three presentations and their records will fly into their hands.

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "The people will face three presentations on the Day of Judgement. As for (the first) two presentations, they are the arguments and the excuses, as for the third presentation, upon that the records will fly into the hands. Some will take them in their right hand, and some will take them in their left hand". Abu 'Eisa said: This Hadith is not correct, because Al-Hasan did not hear from Abu Hurairah. Some of them reported it from 'Ali bin 'Ali - and he is Ar-Rifa'i - from Al-Hasan, from Abu Musa from the Prophet SAW. Abu 'Eisa said: This Hadith is not correct, because Al-Hasan did not hear from Abü Musa.

QUICK LESSONS:
Strive to do good deeds , Do what is right even if no one else can see you doing it , Live a life full of faithfulness towards Allah's commands , Strive for righteousness at all times .

EXPLANATIONS:
On the Day of Judgement, people will be presented with three things. The first two are arguments and excuses, while the third is when records are sent flying into their hands. Some people will take them in their right hand and some in their left hand. This Hadith teaches us that we should strive to do good deeds so that our record is taken in our right hand on the day of judgement as it symbolizes success and salvation. We should also remember that Allah knows all our deeds, both good and bad, so we must always strive to do what is right even if no one else can see us doing it.

It also reminds us to be prepared for judgement day by living a life full of faithfulness towards Allah's commands and striving for righteousness at all times. We must remember that whatever we do now has consequences later on in life; therefore, it is important to make sure we are doing what pleases Allah so that He may reward us with His mercy on judgement day.
