EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the importance of humility and modesty in our lives. It was narrated by Abu Hurairah that the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) instructed us to be humble and not praise ourselves or others too much, but rather to throw dust in the mouths of those who do so excessively. This teaches us that we should always strive for humility and modesty in our words and actions, as it is a sign of piety and faithfulness towards Allah (swt). We should also remember that excessive pride can lead to arrogance which can lead to sinning against Allah (swt). Therefore, it is important for us to practice humility at all times so that we may remain close to Allah (swt).
