Be humble when performing good deeds; Seek protection from Allah at all times; Avoid showing off with your actions or words; Do not be arrogant or proud when doing something good; Be sincere in your intentions when doing something good or helpful for others; Remember that pride leads to sorrow and regret eventually .

This hadith warns us against showing off with our deeds, as it can lead to entering the Pit of Sorrows. The Messenger of Allah asked his companions to seek refuge in Allah from this pit, which is a deep gorge in Hell that even Hell itself seeks refuge from a hundred times each day. He then explained that those who enter this pit are those who show off with their deeds. This hadith teaches us that we should be humble and sincere when performing good deeds, as pride and arrogance will only bring us sorrow and regret in the end.
