The Poor Entering Paradise Before the Rich

SUMMARY: The poor Muslims will be admitted into Paradise before the rich by half a day, which is equivalent to 500 years.

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "The poor Muslims are admitted into Paradise before their rich by half a day. And that is five hundred years".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُحَارِبِيُّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ يَدْخُلُ فُقَرَاءُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ الْجَنَّةَ قَبْلَ أَغْنِيَائِهِمْ بِنِصْفِ يَوْمٍ وَهُوَ خَمْسُمِائَةِ عَامٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَهَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ

This hadith speaks of the rewards that await those who are poor in this world. It tells us that Allah has promised them a special reward for their patience and perseverance in this life. The Messenger of Allah said that they will enter paradise before their rich counterparts by half a day, which is equivalent to 500 years. This shows us how much Allah values those who are patient and humble despite their poverty and lack of worldly possessions. It also teaches us to be content with what we have, as it may lead to greater rewards from Allah in the hereafter. Furthermore, it encourages us to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves so that we can gain even more blessings from Allah on the Day of Judgment.
