The Knowledge of the Prophet

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) is advising us to be mindful of the knowledge he has, as it would make us laugh less and cry more.

Abu Hurairah narrated that the Messenger of Allah (s.a.w) said: "If you knew what I know, then you would laugh little and you would cry much".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَفْصٍ، عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْفَلاَّسُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ الثَّقَفِيُّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ‏ "‏ لَوْ تَعْلَمُونَ مَا أَعْلَمُ لَضَحِكْتُمْ قَلِيلاً وَلَبَكَيْتُمْ كَثِيرًا ‏"‏ ‏.‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ
